The team behind Cambridge Online Education is an ever-expanding group of innovative and ambitious minds.
We pride ourselves on producing world class courses and excellent learner experiences grounded in 3 core pedagogical principles; professional centred learning, rigorous application, a connected cohort.
To achieve that, we have crafted a unique configuration of expertise in-house. Our team contains specialists in all aspects of online education, including learning design and development, media and visual design, marketing, sales and course delivery.

Karen Greetham
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Karen is an experienced online education specialist and senior leader. She has led a number of digital production, project management and operations teams. Her career has centred around shaping and delivering online education programmes for some of the UK’s leading higher education providers. Working closely with our Managing Director, her role at COE sees Karen holding responsibility for the project management, design, development and operations of creating and delivering our online courses. Before taking up her current position, Karen held a number of roles at King’s College London’s online learning department, most recently as Head of Production and Partnership Operations, where she focused on creating and building specialist online learning design and development teams.

Erica Ryan
HEAD OF DIGITAL CONTENT & MEDIA
Erica has over 15 years' experience in designing and developing professional learning to contribute to the transformation and growth of successful online learning environments. Her professional experience is a combination of her three passions: the future of online learning, the design of innovative and creative media and assessing organisational challenges in order to transform ideas into sustainable and workable solutions.
She is currently leading the development teams building visual content, online content and media to create advanced courses. Working in the educational industry in a variety of roles, her focus has been on fostering growth, innovation and originality.
Erica also works as a Freelance Producer across a wide range of projects, from out-of-home advertising campaigns to feature films, as well as having worked on a number of award-winning short films.Please feel free to get in touch at erica.ryan@cambridge.org

Asli Derya
DIRECTOR OF LEARNING PROPOSITIONS
Asli has over 10 years’ experience working in the learning space with extensive knowledge of learning design and digital learning. Previously she worked with in-house corporate learning and development (L&D) teams, including one of the Big Four consulting firms. She has held a number of L&D roles from apprenticeships to business partnering to leadership development before specialising in learning design. In her roles she has led change projects, helped organisations transform their learning through EdTech, built centres of excellence and increased L&D teams’ capabilities.
From 2019 to 2021, she held the position of Board Director for the eLearning Network, where she focused on setting up longitudinal research on the future of L&D. She is a member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) and a committee member in her local branch. She is a life-long learner herself and is completing her final year of an MSc in Human Resource Development and Consultancy where she is undertaking a research project on developing a leading assessment strategy for professional learners.Please feel free to get in touch at asli.derya@cambridge.org
