Canvas – our bespoke learning management system
Canvas is Cambridge Online Education’s online learning platform where our students can access all their learning materials, live sessions and academic-led seminars. It balances accessibility with a quality learning experience as each of our course leaders has channelled their vast experience directly into the course content.
Immersive and interactive learner journey
Bespoke course modules designed by our academics and learning designers in Canvas lead each learner on a self-paced journey. This journey is enhanced by interactive activities created by our in-house content development team, such as recorded podcasts, videos and practical projects which allow learners to directly practice their new-found skills.
Social learning experience
Group learning is consistently found to be a great way to progress in a subject, which is why Canvas also maintains this element of the learning experience with discussion boards and group activities to engage in. We also use tools such as Miro, an online whiteboard tool, and Hypothesis, a social annotation tool, to support a full learning experience.
